John Terry has categorically denied making a racist slur against Anton Ferdinand during Chelsea's west London derby defeat at QPR.
Videos have circulated on the internet in the aftermath of Sunday's Barclays Premier League match at Loftus Road, with some claiming the footage shows Blues captain Terry insulting Rangers defender Ferdinand using racist language.
But Terry said in a statement issued to Press Association Sport: "I've seen that there's a lot of comments on the internet with regards to some video footage of me in today's game.
"I'm disappointed that people have leapt to the wrong conclusions about the context of what I was seen to be saying to Anton Ferdinand.
